The Natural Voices pack includes 14 English speakers: 10 American and 4 British. Download the pack, preview a voice, and set it as the one Home will use. System English voices on your phone remain available without that download.

How to choose one
- Open Voices and download Studio HD, or Lite if you want the smaller pack.
- Filter to English.
- Tap preview on a few names. Heart, Bella, Michael, Emma, and George are the featured ones, which only means the app highlights them. The others are in the same pack.
- Set the voice you want. Home uses it the next time you tap Speak.
Match the accent to the text when it matters. A British voice will speak American spelling; it will not rewrite it. The accent is the difference, not a dialect translator.
System English voices
Before any download, the System voice speaks with the English engine installed on the phone. Use that when you want a quick listen and you do not mind the phone’s own voice. Switch to the list above when you want one of these named speakers, or when you need the voice to keep working offline.

Questions
Are the American and British voices separate downloads?
No. One pack contains the American voices, the British voices, and the other languages. Studio HD and Lite both include the full list. Lite is the smaller download.
Can I change the pitch of an English natural voice?
No. Natural Voices stay at a natural pitch. You can still change speed from 0.5× to 2×. Pitch control is available for System voices.
