01The app
Text to Speech lets you type or paste text and hear it spoken on your phone. Built-in Android voices can start right away. Natural Voices are optional packs you download. You can save a clip as WAV or MP3 and share it from History.
The app is free to download and supported by ads. There is no account to create.
02Your text and audio
You are responsible for the text you enter and for how you use the audio the app creates. Do not use the app to break the law, to harass someone, or to pretend a recording is a real person’s voice when it is not.
Natural Voices turn your text into speech on the phone. Saved clips stay on the device until you delete them. How information is handled is described in the privacy policy.
03Voice packs
Downloading a voice pack needs a connection and free storage. After it is installed, those voices work on the phone, including offline. You can remove a pack in the app. Open-source licenses for the voices are listed in the app under Licenses.
04The app as available
The app is provided as it is available. Voices, features, and ads can change as the app is updated. A System voice uses the text-to-speech engine on your phone, which is not operated by PubNexus.
